I loved seeing this family again!  I hadn’t realized it had been over 8 years since I’d last seen them….wow how time flies.  Tonight, I’m trying to decide what pictures of Layne’s I want to post here as a sneak peek.  I’m having a really hard time.  Usually, one or two images really catch my attention.  However, I have SO many favorites here!  Great job, Layne!  Thanks to all of you for the opportunity to photograph you guys.  You’re really a beautiful family : )

Emily

I’ve been photographing Emily for a little over a year. During the course of the year, I’ve developed a close relationship with both her and her family.  They’ve all graciously opened their doors for me to photograph on their property as often as I’d like.  Emily is now a high school senior, so I’ve got only 9 short months more to work with her.  She’s grown through her photographs, which makes me love photographing her more and more.

I think I performed a miracle….

I photographed these cuties last summer and graciously accepted when they called me for portraits again this year.  The youngest wasn’t walking last year, and now he’s RUNNING!   EVERYWHERE!!  And he only wanted to run AWAY from my camera!  So, I just can’t believe I got this shot of the three of them standing still.  The girls were very curious about their surroundings and the boy was always running away.  But, nonetheless, I’m thrilled about this photograph!

Lacey and Jude

After rescheduling TWICE due to rain, we finally got these engagement pictures done!  And with no time to waste….they’re getting married on August 20!  Thanks, Lacey and Jude!  It was fun working with you two and I’m really looking forward to the wedding!

Brayden

Brayden is SO adorable!  He was cooperative and relaxed, which is my dream client!  Casey, I’m SO glad we finally got together to do this….you and your hubby must be so proud of him.

Lynnsie and Corey

I took Lynnsie’s pre-bridals a few months ago.  I got to photograph her again with her new husband, Corey.  I must say, this is my favorite couple so far.

Kaite

This session has been in the making for quite a few months.  Kaite’s mother hooked us up with a few boats AND drivers, so we set out to shoot in a small bayou in Louisiana.  It was all I hoped it would be.

Vincent

I LOVED working with Vincent.  He and I started communicating about his session quite a few months ago.  By the time we got together, he had gathered a collection of images from magazines and internet as an example for me to see.  His ideas were creative and edgy, so we intended to produce more of the same.  I LOVE the results.  Thanks Vincent  :D
