Shelbi

Did I ever tell you how much I LOVE my job??  I never get  bored!  I’m always seeing new faces.  And sometimes faces that I’ve seen before.  I LOVE photographing high school teens.  When I first meet them, they’re mostly shy, and I’m thinking to myself, “Gosh….this may be difficult.”  However, 9 times out of 10, they surprise me every time.  They just come alive in front of the camera.  I can learn their personality in about 5 shots.  By the time we’re done, I feel as though I’ve known them for years.  And when I see them again, maybe months…maybe years later, it’s as though we’re old friends. Shelbi was so much fun to work with.  She’s beautiful and bubbly. AND she worked with my ideas, which is always a plus for me.  What’s weird about this shoot is that I’m the one that got a poison ivy rash.  Usually, my clients are the ones to get it after I make them lie down in it or something crazy like that.  Well, I guess it’s karma comin’ around to get me!  Great Job, Shelbi!  You’re gorgeous and you’ll do great in all the things you do.  : )

Olivia

Olivia is simply adorable!!  Her outfits were amazing….colorful and funky.  As a second-grader, she did a pretty good job “being a model” for me.

Paige

I’ve been photographing Paige for several years.  This year, she’s a senior rep for me.  I’ve watched her blossom in front of the camera.  Each year she’s more beautiful than the last.  She’s a great model…..relaxed and in tune to what I want.  Paige, this is bittersweet for me.  But maybe I’ll track you down next year to model for me….lol.

Brooke

I first saw Brooke on facebook and loved her look right away.  I contacted her last Spring as was just able to photograph her this month.  She is one of my Junior reps, so I’m so happy that I get to work with her again next year, as a senior!

Annual Trip

This image is from our annual trip we take to try new ideas and just simply “play”.  Holly did  an amazing job with hair and makeup, as usual.  I also must mention that Holly and I first started working together at my last trip, which was October 2009.

Let’s Play!

I often work with hair stylists and makeup artists.  One of my stylist friends asked if I’d be interested in helping bring some ideas to fruition.   A few girls at the Aveda Institute had some theme ideas and needed a photographer to photograph them.  Of course, I jumped at the chance.  It was amazing! The girls had put forth such an effort in styling and costuming! And my stylist friends did an amazing job with hair/makeup.  It all came together beautifully.

Kohen

I’ve been photographing Kohen since his first birthday.  One of the most rewarding things about being a photographer is the opportunity to follow a child’s growth through the years.  He just gets more and more adorable through the years!  AND more energetic!

Terri

Terri is a friend of mine.  In fact, she sang at my last wedding.  She has an amazing voice and has recently been using it quite often, fronting the band “Crush”.
